Sometimes we just need a good love story. Not only will these novels pull on your heartstrings, but you also won’t be able to put them down!

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
This is one of the first novels that I have read by Hoover, and is by far one of my favorites. What I like best about this novel is how Hoover crafts her characters in a way that makes the reader question how they themselves would respond if placed in the situation of the main character. In this novel you will become both intertwined and immersed in the characters, blurring the lines between what is right, what is wrong, and really exploring the choices we make.
From the Publisher: “The newest, highly anticipated novel from beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author, Colleen Hoover. Sometimes it is the one who loves you who hurts you the most. Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up–she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true. Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place. As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan–her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened. With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. Combining a captivating romance with a cast of all-too-human characters, It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price.”

The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams
If you’re looking for a romance novel that will keep your attention and make you laugh, this novel is for you!
From the Publisher: “When his wife asks for a divorce, Nashville Legends second baseman Gavin Scott finds help from an unlikely source: a secret romance book club made up of Nashville’s top alpha men. With the help of their current read, a steamy Regency titled Courting the Countess, the guys coach Gavin on saving his marriage. But it’ll take a lot more than flowery words and grand gestures for this hapless Romeo to find his inner hero and win back the trust of his wife.”

I Owe You One by Sophie Kinsella
There’s something about Sophie Kinsella novels that not only lift your mood but also leave you feeling hopeful and light. This is one of my favorite Kinsella romances and I really did not want it to end!
From the Publisher: “Fixie Farr has always lived by her father’s motto: “Family first.” But ever since her dad passed away, leaving his charming kitchen supply store in the hands of his children, Fixie spends all her time picking up the slack from her siblings instead of striking out on her own. The way Fixie sees it, if she doesn’t take care of her father’s legacy, who will? It’s simply not in Fixie’s nature to tell people “no.” So when a handsome stranger in a coffee shop asks her to watch his laptop for a moment, Fixie not only agrees–she ends up saving it from certain disaster. Turns out the computer’s owner is an investment manager named Sebastian. To thank Fixie for her quick thinking, he scribbles an IOU on a coffee sleeve and attaches his business card. But Fixie laughs it off–she’d never actually claim an IOU from a stranger. Would she? Then Fixie’s childhood crush Ryan comes back into her life and his lack of a profession pushes all of Fixie’s buttons. She wants nothing for herself, but for Seb to give Ryan a job. And Seb agrees, until the tables are turned once more and a new series of IOU’s between Seb and Fixie–from small favors to life-changing moments–ensue. Soon Fixie, Ms. Fixit for everyone else, is torn between her family and the life she really wants. Does she have the courage to take a stand for herself? Will she finally grab the life, and love, she really wants?”
