Do you know what’s in your closet?  Most people think they do but are often surprised by what they find.

Look at the clothes in your closet or dresser. What do you see? Most likely you’ll see a mixture of items: some you wear all the time, and others you haven’t worn for years. Some clothes you want to wear more often, and a few you’ll never wear again but are keeping for sentimental reasons.

And I’m sure if you go to your hall closet, you’ll find a mishmash of gloves, scarves and hats that you’re holding on to – and the same for your jackets and coats.

Message From the Director: Lectures Available at your Leisure

Livingston Library Community, 

Do you miss attending the lectures hosted by the Livingston Public Library?  Try viewing one of our virtual programs! The Livingston Public Library’s Youtube Channel hosts lectures just like you would find in the library, but viewable at your leisure from the comfort of your own home.

This past Friday, our Youtube Channel hosted an art history lecture with Suzanne Altman.  You may remember Altman from her lecture that took place inside the library earlier this year on the Hudson River School.  Her latest lecture is titled The Art of the Dutch Golden Age,  and it is  absolutely fascinating!

This Monday, June 1, 2020 we will also have another lecture going live on our YouTube Channel.  Patricia Diesel, certified professional organizer and lifestyle coach will be presenting What’s in Your Closet: Ten Things You Can Toss Today. It’s going to be a wonderful talk on organization and will help you with spring cleaning!
