This summer’s Paws to Read program was a huge success! Children entering grades K-2 joined Hunter the Therapy Dog on their reading journeys to build confidence in their read-aloud skills while enjoying the summer weather on our outdoor terrace. Parents and children alike enjoyed spending time with Hunter, and the children were able to relax and ease their anxiety about reading thanks to his calming presence. We are so grateful to Hunter and his human for joining us this summer!
Hunter will be back again to visit us once a month this Fall through December. Keep an eye on our program calendar to register for a 15-minute reading session!
