The American Library Association has partnered with Overdrive / Libby to offer their
Libraries Transform book pick, an e-book title available to all library readers nationwide from October 7 through October 21. There’s no wait or holds list for this title during this time period. All you need is your library card.
The Libraries Transform Book Pick is After the Flood by Kassandra Montag. In this novel, the world as we currently know it no longer exists. Rising flood waters have submerged America’s coastal cities leaving mountain top colonies surrounded by a large expanse of water. Myra and her seven year old daughter fish off of a small boat in the waters, where she hears word that her eldest daughter who had gone missing may have been seen near the Arctic Circle.
