As Adult Summer Reading came to an end this month, hot August days brought us some cool summer programming.
We also continued our Livi Cares: Adult Volunteer Club. This month, our drop in adult volunteers made cards to be donated to Cards for Hospitalized Kids.
Artist Erica Pizza joined us for our Adult Paint Night: A Taste of Summer. She showed us how to paint a juicy slice of summer watermelon.
We also learned all about Microsoft Excel in a two part hands-on instructional class taught by our technology librarian.
But that wasn’t all! We also hosted our monthly Color Your Stress Away program, our Saturday movie series Weekends with the Oscars, our It’s a Writer’s Thing: Creative Writing Group. We have so many great programs planned for fall. Check out our calendar to see what’s happening next month.
