This month we got back in the swing of things with virtual programs via zoom. Here’s a recap of what awesome virtual adult programs we held this month!
What if better home organization resulted in better functionality and peace during this uncertain and stressful time? It can! Local professional home organizer, Cassidy Nasello showed us how to create a multi-functional home in her presentation, KonMari Method™ for Peace During Uncertain Times. If you’re interested in the KonMari Method, check out these books, here!
Trees! We see them everywhere but how many can you identify? In Demystifying Trees: Identity the Trees in Your Backyard, the NJ Audubon taught us so many useful tree identification facts!
The current global situation has increased stress and anxiety in the lives of both essential workers and the general public. ACAP presented Anxiety in the Time of Covid, an informative lecture that showed us tips and coping strategies we could implement into our own lives.
Do you know who the first “real” housewives of NJ are? In the riveting lecture The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Early American Women and their Kitchen Gardens, garden historian Lesly Parness taught us about these incredible women.
This month we also enjoyed take-home Pinterest Inspired Adult Crafting. Registered participants picked up supplies and instructions including a link to a YouTube video tutorial with the Livingston Librarians and made some beautiful paper flowers!
We also held our Senior Happening virtually, and enjoyed a musical performance titled “Seasoned Soul” by Stephen Fuller.
Many of these programs were made possible by the Friends of the Livingston Public Library. Visit our events calendar to see what great programs we have planned for September!
