Dear Livingston Library Community,
“Whoever Saves a Life Saves the World” ~Talmud
Every 2.5 seconds someone needs blood – it could be a friend, a family member, or maybe even you. The need is real and with only a small amount of your time, you can make the difference between life and death.
On Thursday, August 23, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, the Livingston Public Library, in cooperation with Community Blood Services NJ, will open its Program Room to members of the community who wish to donate blood. Any healthy individual (16 and 17 with parental permission) and weighing at least 110 pounds can donate blood. Donors should eat a moderate meal before donating and must bring identification showing signature.
Call 201-251-3703 for an appointment or schedule online.
All the best,
Amy
