What’s better than reading books? How about talking about the books that you have recently read with other readers? The Livingston Public Library offers a wide array of book clubs for adults who are looking to do just that.
Cookbook Club: Perfect for those who love cooking, reading, and collecting recipes. The Cookbook Club invites you to pick a recipe from a chosen cookbook and make one regular sized recipe to bring and discuss at the meeting. This book club meets every other month on a Wednesday evening.
Get Lit: Do you enjoy reading popular and well reviewed literature? Come join our Get Lit Book Club where we discuss a select title over mocktails! This book club meets once a month on a Tuesday evening.
Feminist Fare: For those looking for something with a feminist twist, check out our Feminist Fare book club, which meets once a month on a Thursday morning.
Let’s Talk About Books: This book club meets on the second Thursday of the month at 12:45pm. This book club reads popular and critical titles.
Book Club in a Bag: Interested in starting your own book club? You can also check out a Book Club in a Bag from the Patron Services Desk, which contains multiple copies of a single title along with discussion questions.
Happy Book Clubbing!
