Borrow and Read Magazines with Overdrive / Libby!

Borrow and Read Magazines with Overdrive / Libby!

Did you enjoy borrowing and reading magazines from RB Digital? Are you wondering where your favorite magazines have gone?  Don’t worry, they’re still here! The Livingston Public Library and BCCLS library consortium are now using Overdrive (also known as the Libby app) for digital magazines.

You know and love Overdrive for ebooks and audiobooks and now you can browse and borrow magazines from the same platform! It’s your one stop and cohesive e-library for magazines, books, and audiobooks which makes on-the-go (or stay at home) borrowing seamless and easy!

To view magazines in the browser, navigate to: https://ebccls.overdrive.com/

Here you can either select the option to browse magazines or type a specific title in the search bar.  Select the magazine and issue you wish to read and then click on borrow.  It’s that easy.

Similarly, in the Libby app for Overdrive, you can also select the option to browse magazines or search for a specific issue.

Personally, it’s been a while since I actually went out of my way to read a magazine.  However, I use Libby pretty frequently for audiobooks and ebooks so I am really looking forward to being able to browse magazine titles while I search for my next novel all through one app.

Are you an avid reader of magazines? Which magazines are you looking forward to borrowing? Tell us in the comments below!

  1. I have been unable to access Magazines in Libby of any description.
I click on to Magazines enter title and it gives BOOKS titles.
I have also accessed OVERDRIVE but have had no better luck.
Signed to two Libraries but did NOT understand gobbledegook regarding Merging Libraries and contacting my library which is SHUT for covid reasons.
RB Digital is far superior to these NEW CRAP APPS
