Dear Livingston Library Community,
For the recent college graduates that have spent the past four years in school preparing to go out in the world, nothing quite prepares them for the next part of their journey, which is, “Now what?” What do you do, where do you go; what do you want to pursue and who do you want to become? These are the sort of questions that come up during this potentially scary, transitional time.
Luckily, many others have also gone through this, writing out their experiences for generations that follow them. After all, what better way to get advice than through a book?
Below is a list of four titles I recommend to any grad looking for a little guidance on their new journey:
Congratulations, By the Way by George Sanders
Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert
Assume the Worst by Carl Hiaasen
Getting There by Gillian Zoe Segal
All the best,
Amy
