It’s no secret that we love holidays and remembrances here at the Library, and as Thanksgiving has just passed we hope you’re still basking in the afterglow. But as you gear up for Cyber Monday, the biggest online shopping day of the year, we hope you’ll remember your Library and the wonderful programs our Friends support all year long. One of the most painless ways to give is through our Friends’ AmazonSmile account.
Here’s how it works: Start out at AmazonSmile and use your regular login and password to sign in. Then Amazon will prompt you to select a charity from their list. At the bottom of that screen there’s a search box marked “pick your own charitable organization,” where you can type in “Friends of the Livingston Library.” Voila! The best part is, we get .5 percent of everything you spend but it doesn’t cost you an extra dime.
So if you’ve enjoyed one of our many public programs for adults or children this year, please consider bookmarking the site and doing any Amazon shopping through your Friends of the Library account this Monday–and even afterwards!
