December Adult Programming Wrap Up

It’s time for our December Adult Programming Wrap Up! We had some wonderful programs take place this month and are excited to see what 2020 holds!

This month we improved our technology skills with a two part workshop on Microsoft Excel 101.  We also learned How to Borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks onto our tablets and smartphone devices with our Livingston library cards!

For those looking to start or expand upon their business, SCORE of Essex County presented on the basics of Developing a Successful Business Plan.

We also had many wonderful lectures this month! Dr. Tyree Oredein presented on Moral Literacy and Anti-Bullying, Dr. Elliot Engel presented his lecture on Charles Dickens entitled  The Dickens Nobody Knows, and Dr. Michael Norris presented From Saint to Santa.

We also love to get crafty! This month we we indulged into two crafting programs, Winter Wreath Making instructed by Robin K. Johnson, and Make a Birch Bark Snowflake Plaque instructed by the Culture Cabin.

Let’s not forget our wonderful regular program set! We hosted ARC of Essex County’s meetup, Color Your Stress Away, Let’s Talk About Books, Feminist Fare book club, Senior Happening, and Saturdays at the Movies!  To see all the great programs we have planned for January, check out our events calendar here
