Message from the Director: Financial Literacy for the Win!

Dear Livingston Library Community,

DirectorAmyB.jpeg

March is Women’s History Month, and what better time to consider attending a free financial workshop for women?  On Wednesday, March 21st, the Library will be welcoming Debbie Taylor, a CPA, attorney, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, for a free public presentation, “Empowering Women.” Debbie won’t be delivering any sales pitch for her own services or any financial products; instead she’ll be discussing the three primary challenges of planning for women–longer lives, lower wages, and less self-confidence in investing–and how to overcome them!

If you like “Empowering Women,” don’t miss “Taking Control of Your Retirement” on May 10th, and “Investment Principles for Women” on June 9th. These programs are part of our exciting new series, “It’s Your Business.”

Because here at the Library we promote literacy of all kinds–and we know financial literacy is the bottom line.

All the best,

Amy
