Garden State Children’s Book Award Voting is OPEN

Which books should win the 2023 Garden State Children’s Book Award? Children can vote for their favorite nominees from now until December 16th.  The nominated books were selected by a committee of New Jersey librarians and are divided into four categories: early readers, fiction, graphic novels, and nonfiction.  

Nominees include:

-fiction like: Get a Grip, Vivy Cohen! and Ways to Make Sunshine 

-graphic novels like: Class Act and Witches of Brooklyn 

-and nonfiction like: Powwow: A Celebration Through Song and Dance and A Sporting Chance: How Ludwig Guttmann Created the Paralympic Games
