Gardening for the Environment

Springtime is the the perfect time for gardening! Why not cultivate a garden gardening.jpgthat can help to benefit the environment and natural animal populations?

On Monday, April 15 at 6:30pm, the Great Swamp Watershed Association’s Director of Education and Outreach, Hazel England, will be at the library to share tips and tricks on how you can use native plants to attract beneficial wildlife into your very own backyard! England will touch upon the value wildlife brings to your garden and will show you what exactly you can plant to support local bird, bee, and butterfly populations.  She will also go over how you can reduce your water use and minimize garden pollutants.

This event is free and open to all, and there is no registration. It is co-sponsored by GSWA and Livingston Public Library.  We hope to see you all there!
