Livingston Library Community,
Spring has sprung and this April the Livingston Library has events planned to inspire creativity for all ages.
In honor of April being National Poetry Month, adults are invited to join us in the Library’s program room on Wednesday, April 6th at 7pm for a Poetry Writing Workshop instructed by local New Jersey poet and Writers Circle instructor, Catherine Doty. In this workshop, aspiring poets will learn how to discover creativity and unleash their own, unique poetic voice. Participants will also engage in interactive creative writing exercises and prompts in a positive, supportive atmosphere.
Adults and children will also be able to embrace their inner artist this month. Adults will enjoy Pysanky Egg Decorating on April 4th at 7pm, our Pinterest Inspired Adult Craft: Mason Jar Suncatchers on April 18th at 11am, our Adult Art Workshop: Whimsical Fairy Gardens on April 27th at 11am, and our drop-in Color Your Stress Away and Crafternoon events.
Children will also be able to stop by the youth services desk to take home weekly crafts. Starting the week of April 4th children will be able to take home an Easter Chick Craft, a Passover Frog Craft starting the week of April 11th, and a Ramadan Lantern Craft starting the week of April 18th. Children may also register for an Art Class with Christine workshop scheduled to tackle place on Monday, April 25th at 4pm!
We can’t wait to get creative with you this spring!
Best,
Amy Babcock, Director
