Dear Livingston Library Community,
The writer Camus once said “In the depth of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.” If you’re having trouble connecting with your own invincible summer right now, your Library is here to help! Not only do our thousands of books, movies, and magazines provide virtual means of escape, our museum passes offer you and your family eight possibilities for cultural adventures. And our wonderful Friends of the Library, who fund the museum pass program along with so many others, have just added New York’s Frick Collection to our roster. Participating institutions closer to home include the Montclair Art Museum, the Morris Museum, the Newark Museum, the Yogi Berra Museum at Montclair State, and Imagine That!!! for children in Florham Park. If you’re dying to get outside despite the arctic chill, bundle up for the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum at Pier 86 at 46th Street In Manhattan, or the Grounds for Sculpture, an enormous outdoor sculpture garden located in Hamilton, NJ. For more details about how the museum passes work, check our website or stop by the circulation desk where the passes are kept.
Happy adventuring, and here’s to the invincible summer in all of us!
All the best,
Amy
