Do you know what pairs absolutely great together? Books and wine of course! But does choosing that bottle of red, white, or rosé leave you feeling a little bit confused?
If you’re looking to learn more about wine in terms of how to buy, store, serve, and cook with it, you’re in luck! The Livingston Public Library will be hosting a lecture on An Introduction to the World of Wine on Monday, April 8 at 7pm, presented by Dr. Mark R. Vogel, a clinical psychologist, professionally trained chef, and food & wine writer.
We’ll be learning all there is to know about wine, as well as the different world regions and various wines they produce. Registration is not required and all are welcome to attend.
In preparation for this event, why not check out some awesome wine books?
Wine & Punishment by Sarah Fox is a perfect 2019 read for someone looking to spend the night curled up with a novel and glass of wine, while Tasting the Past by Kevin Begos is perfect for those looking to learn the history of the world’s wine grapes. You can also access the digital versions of the popular magazines Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast via RB Digital. All you need is your library card.
