January Adult Programming Wrap Up

We kicked off 2023 with a successful month of adult programs! Here is a recap of what took place this month at the Livingston Public Library.

We started a brand new group for those interested in knitting, crochet, cross stitch, and more! Hooks and Needles meets on the first Friday of the month and the third Tuesday of the month at 2pm.

Dan Yates performed at our first Senior Happening performance for 2023. We had a lovely time socializing with friends while enjoying the popular and classical tunes performed by Yates.

The Library has a lecture for everyone! We enjoyed many wonderful lectures including: Tapping Into Your Intuition, The Colorful History of the Little Black Dress, Introduction to Digital Marketing, and The Golden Age of Movie Musicals. We also enjoyed a film screening of Diversity in the Long Gray Line, followed by a Q&A session with the film’s producer!

Those interested in exploring their creative side enjoyed the Library’s drop-in monthly Crafternoon activity and the instructor-led Adult Art Workshop: Create a Mixed Media Collage.

We also enjoyed our fabulous book clubs this month including: Let’s Talk About BooksCrime Time, Cookbook Club, and Bookish Vibes (which included an author visit with Viola Shipman!) Mark your calendars for our new Thrilling Tales mystery book club starting on February 9th!

But that’s not all! We also hosted a fun filled Bingo NightEnglish Learners Conversation program, Activity Corner worksheets, and more! Be sure to visit our events calendar to see all of the great programs we have planned for February!

Hope to see you at the Library soon!
