The students of Livingston art teacher Christine Qin Wittlinger are currently holding their 11th annual “Chinese New Year ” art show commemorating “The Year of Rat” in the Livingston Public Library display case, and it will continue through the end of January.
The colorful works of art on display have been created by children ages 6 through 18. Media include oil painting, watercolors, sketches, and oil pastels, as well as works done in marker and crayons. The students’ vibrant works include depictions of Chinese dragons, cherry blossoms, fireworks, and other images associated with Chinese culture.
