January Display

The Livingston Public Library is currently displaying artworks by Eleanor Goldman Halpern.

Eleanor Goldman Halpern artist, piano teacher, and a Livingston resident for over 40 years, is showcasing her art at the Livingston Public Library from Dec. 31 – Jan. 15.IMG_5646

Eleanor’s passion for art started to develop as she was taught all of the mediums as an art major in high school.  Her works were often displayed in high school and college exhibitions.

In this exhibit are some of her watercolors, oils, pastels, and one of her stone sculptures.  She is fascinated with what a brush stroke can do, and how you can play with color. Eleanor always found time to sign up for art classes even while raising a family.  She particularly enjoyed studying portraiture art with the famous Daniel Greene and is currently studying watercolor with Maryann Burton.

Eleanor is proud to share her paintings and a sample of her sculpture with you at the Livingston Public Library Exhibit.
