The Livingston Public Library is excited to host an author visit with local Montclair author, Marcy Dermansky on Thursday, February 6 at 7:00pm. Dermansky is the author of four novels, Twins (2005), Bad Marie (2010), The Red Car (2016), and Very Nice (2019).
Dermanksy’s latest novel, Very Nice has been highly praised by The Washington Post, O Magazine, Buzzfeed, The Today Show, Entertainment Weekly, and many others. Emma Straub, author of Modern Lovers and The Vacationers, has stated that “Marcy Dermansky is a light switch, a volume knob, a fire drill. Her novels are bright and attention-grabbing, from the first page to the last, and Very Nice is her best yet.”
Dermansky will be reading from her latest novel, followed by a short discussion and Q/A session. The Friends of the Livingston Public Library will have a limited number of copies of Very Nice available for purchase. Registration is not required and all are welcome to attend. For more information, visit our events calendar, here.
We hope to see you there!
