“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.”— Dr. Seuss, “I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!”
Livingston Library Community,
Here at the Livingston Public Library, we believe that a love for reading and lifelong learning begins at an early age. That’s why the Livingston Public Library is excited to announce the Read 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program, where parents and their children are challenged to read 1,000 books.
Participation in this program is easy, as all you have to do is read to your child! The Library has wonderful picture books available through the physical print collection as well as through the library’s digital collections. The picture books read in virtual storytimes also count! Visit the Livingston Public Library’s YouTube Channel for our virtual storytimes.
After you and your child finish reading a book, you can log it in Beanstack. This is a great way to track your progress as you begin your journey to read 1,000 books! You can register and log books via Beanstack, here.
