Livingston Library Community,
One of the best parts about working in the library is the ability to connect readers with not only their next favorite read, but also with the authors behind the books that they cherish. That’s why the Livingston Public Library is excited to host a virtual author visit through Zoom with award winning middle grade and young adult author Alisha Sevigny.
During this virtual visit, Sevigny will be discussing her latest book, The Desert Prince, an adventurous second installment to the popular Secrets of the Sands series set in Egypt. For those aspiring to become writers, Sevigny will also be discussing the process that goes into writing a book. A question and answer session will follow the discussion.
This will be the author’s second virtual visit to LPL; Sevigny participated in the Xtreme Readers Book Club in April when we discussed the first book in the Secrets of the Sands series, The Lost Scroll of the Physician.
Sevigny is the author of the middle grade Secrets of Sands series as well as two standalone young adult novels. She holds a degree in Professional Writing from the University of Victoria. This event is recommended for children grades 4 and up and is open to Livingston residents only. Registration is required for this event and can be done so on the Library’s event calendar, here. An email with information on how to access the Zoom presentation will be emailed to registered attendees one day prior to the event.
