Livingston Library Community,
Clap your hands, sing-a-long, and dance in your seat at the Livingston Public Library’s upcoming Senior Happening performance! Vocalist Stephen Fuller and his trio will be joining us in the Library’s program room on Friday, October 21st at 1pm to perform “A Tribute to the Great Men of Song.”
This musical journey will showcase the music of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Paul Robeson, amongst many more wonderful artists. Music recorded by these talented singers, including songs such as “Fly Me To The Moon,” Nature Boy,” “Sway,” and “Old Man River,” will be included.
While the musical performance begins promptly at 1pm, Seniors are encouraged to join us in the program room starting at 12pm for refreshments. Registration is required for Senior Happening and can be done so through the Library’s event calendar, here.
We hope you enjoy this month’s Senior Happening!
Best,
Amy Babcock, Director
Senior Happening is made possible in part by funds from the Essex County Division of Cultural Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and through the support from the Friends of the Livingston Library.
Loved Stephen Fuller Trio and his wife on the LPL zoom from his backyard during the pandemic! Disappointed I won’t be able to see them in person on Friday. Will the performance be recorded and available to watch afterwards?
Hi Marian, We are happy to hear that you enjoyed Stephen Fuller’s virtual performance! Unfortunately this performance will only be taking place in-person and will not be recorded. We hope to see you at our other upcoming events! -Jessica, Head of Adult Services & Acquisitions
