“Pull up a chair. Take a taste. Come join us. Life is so endlessly delicious.”

Livingston Library Community,
With the approaching holiday season comes two things 1) The time for us to gather with friends and family and 2) The indulgence of yummy comfort foods. If you’re looking to mindfully indulge this holiday season, the Livingston Public Library has two virtual programs planned to help you enjoy the flavors of the season.
On Wednesday, November, 17th at 11am you can join the library virtually on Zoom for a presentation on “Eating Healthy Through the Holidays,” presented by Jennifer Shukaitis, MPH, faculty member in The Department of Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) a part of Rutgers Cooperative Extension). In this lecture, Shukaitis will offer some easy and practical tips for staying healthy through the holidays without sacrificing our favorite foods or drinks. You can register for this event here.
If you enjoy indulging in holiday cocktails, we invite you to join the Livingston Library virtually on Zoom Monday, November 29th at 7pm for a workshop on “Holiday Cocktails.” During this event, Tammy Coxen, professional cocktail enthusiast and the Chief Tasting Officer of Tammy’s Tastings, will demonstrate how to make festive winter drinks as well as essential cocktail mixing techniques useful in almost any cocktail recipe. You can register for this event here.
We also invite you to visit the Livingston Public Library and browse our cookbook section and holiday cookbook displays located in the Adult Seating Area. There’s some scrumptious recipes to be found that I for one can’t wait to start making!

**All are welcome to attend these events, but registration is required. An email with information on how to access the Zoom event will be emailed to you the day before the program is to take place.
