Message from the Director: Ltown Radio: A Livingston Library Podcast

Livingston Library Community,

Are you an avid listener of podcasts? Add the Livingston Public Library’s Podcast L-TownRadio to your listening list!

L-TownRadio is available on all the popular podcast streaming services such as: Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. It’s a fun way to keep up to date on what’s going on at the Library, new book releases, and to stay connected to the Livingston community.

Our latest episode starts off with a bit of local history, as we learn some intriguing facts about William Livingston, our town’s “rascally” namesake. Later in the show, listeners are given a few of the best books hitting our shelves this month; a couple exciting virtual programs on our February calendar; and a special song. Finally, the librarians in our Adult Services & Acquisitions department discuss some of their favorite fiction about politics and leadership.

Our January 2022 podcast episode featured a riveting discussion centered around Get Back, Peter Jackson’s recent documentary series about The Beatles, as well as other great Beatles-related materials available through the library. The episode also featured a delightful song about New Year’s Resolutions, an overview of the upcoming programs on the Library’s event calendar, and a conversation about what books and shows the Library’s Adult Services & Acquisitions staff members are especially excited to check out in 2022.

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director
