Message From the Director: New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus

“A great song should lift your heart, warm the soul and make you feel good.”  ~ Colbie Caillat

Great songs have the power to not only uplift our mood and warm our hearts, but also create wonderful memories with those we share such music with.  In the spirit of song, the Livingston Public Library invites you to join us on Sunday, November 17 at 2:00 PM for An Afternoon of Song performed by the New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus.  The chorus will be performing well known tunes and classic favorites, while also giving us a taste of their upcoming concert pieces for 2020.

The New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus is comprised of volunteers from New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.  They have been performing for 25 years and have been involved with Jersey Pride in Asbury Park, Worlds Aid Day and participated in “Sing for the Cure” at Carnegie Hall.  Their mission is to “inspire pride, empowerment, equality, and acceptance to all through extraordinary music and actions.”

Be sure to stop by the library this upcoming weekend to share the joy of song with your family and neighbors.  We look forward to creating the musical memories with you!
