“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” – Fred Rodgers
At the Livingston Public Library, we pride ourselves in being the heart of our vibrant town and community. However, we know it takes many helpers to keep our community safe, healthy, and happy. That’s why we are excited to announce that a special guest will be joining our Little Listeners Storytime on Thursday, March 12 at 4:00 PM. Livingston Police Department’s Officer Joy Klapal will be reading to children ages 2-5 and their caregivers during a special “Storytime with a Police Officer.”
That’s right! Children will be given the opportunity to meet a real police officer! And the best part is that following the stories at the end of the program, Officer Klapal will answer childrens’ questions. This is a wonderful opportunity for our littlest Livingstonians to get to better know the people in our neighborhood who work so hard to keep us safe.
We hope to see you and your little ones there!
Amy, Director
