Livingston Library Community,
We are living in an unprecedented time, and as librarians, we believe it is essential to document and collect the stories of our community as we adjust to life during this pandemic. As a result, the Livingston Public Library is in the process of launching a Community Story Sharing Project to document life in Livingston during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are asking you, the members of the Livingston Community, to participate by navigating to our website at www.livingstonlibrary.org to fill out the online form and submit your personal experiences during March 2020 – April 2020. When submitting, please include the following:
- First and Last Name
- Age
- Any other information you’d like to share about yourself
- An email or phone number to contact you
- Your experience, kept to 1,000 words or less
Prompt ideas: What is your biggest fear? What is the most difficult aspect of the quarantine? What has been a positive aspect of the quarantine?

Is the library continuing to acquire electronic items during this time, when the library building is closed? I tried searching for a newly released title “Missed Translations” by Sopan Deb (hopefully an ebook or audio book is available), but it doesn’t look like the library has it
Hi Subhankar! The ebook “Missed Translations” is on order, but it may take a couple of days to appear in Overdrive. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance. -Jessica, Adult Services &Acquisitions Librarian
