Livingston Library Community,
It’s good to be back! This past week, the Livingston Library began it’s limited reopening to the public with “browse and borrow” hours. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces. While services are limited as we begin our phased reopening, you can pick up reserves in person, browse a librarian curated collection of materials for all ages, and reserve computers by appointment. The library is open for browse & borrow on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 AM – 5 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM – 8 PM. You can learn more about the browse and borrow service days, here.
If you’d prefer to continue getting your materials via contactless, the Livingston Library is still offering contactless pickup only days. The library is open for contactless pickup on Monday 10 AM – 8 PM and Thursday 10 AM – 5 PM. You can learn more about how contactless pickup works, here.
As we begin the process of resuming to our new sense of “normal,” the library has also been planning many wonderful virtual events through Zoom. One upcoming and timely event we have planned for this Monday, August 10 at 7 PM is Anxiety in the Time of Covid. This program is in partnership with ACAP and will be presented by psychoanalyst, Dr. Lillesol Kane. In this program, Dr. Kane will offer supportive strategies and coping techniques to help individuals and families deal with anxiety and manage mental health. You can register for this event on the Library’s events calendar, here.
We hope to “see” you soon, at either one of our virtual events, or at the library for browse & borrow or contactless pickup!
