Dear Livingston Library Community,
Did you ever wonder what our Youth Services Department would look like filled with a giant, ultra-creative, homemade mini-golf course? Well, we’re about to find out! On Thursday, February 22nd, our Teen Advisory Board is joining forces with the Friends of the Library to hold our first-ever Library Mini-Golf Fundraiser. All of the wonderfully whimsical mini-golf courses have been designed, planned and donated by school clubs, scouts and other volunteers. They’re also running a delicious bake sale in case you need fortification after an especially tough swing.
Here’s how it works: each participant provides a small donation to enter the game (suggested: $5 per player, $20 per family). The proceeds go to the Friends of the Library and the American Library Association’s Disaster Relief Fund to support hurricane-damaged libraries. Having fun, doing good, and eating brownies all at the same time…you could hardly ask for more!
And remember, at Livingston Library, we bring the world to you.
All the best,
Amy
