As you may or may not know (read more here!), we’re very excited to introduce our new Adult seating area, adjacent to our Patron Services Desk. This new space is great for working collaboratively, socializing or just catching up with a good book. Meant to mimic a living room at home, the area features some fabulous coffee table books for your reading pleasure, as well as book displays, plants, and tons of natural light.
We asked some staff what they’re most excited about in this new space. My response? I am in love with our new wingback chairs in the corner of the room. They’re so bright and cheery and the absolute perfect space to curl up with a good book!
See below for what some of our staff has to say:
Archana, Adult Services Librarian: I’m excited for the new artwork in the space that brightens up the walls. I also love the natural light that permeates the room.
Jessica, Adult Services Librarian: I like how bright the space is and the sunlight streaming in through the bay windows, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Amy, Director: I love the new tables and collaborative work space. It’s a great place to meet up and work with people and the space has a great energy associated with it.
Now blog readers, it’s time to tell us what you’re favorite part of our new space is!
