November was full of wonderful adult programs! Here’s what happened during this month.
We began the month with a special Sunday movie showing of Shalom Bollywood: The Untold Story of Indian Cinema. We also enjoyed our Saturday at the Movies showing of The Cakemaker.
November is all about expressing gratitude and being thankful. Dr. Margaret DeLong joined us early in the month for her Gratitude Workshop. It was an inspiring and motivational event.
Are you interested in exploring your genetics? Ushta Davar Canteenwalla presented Genetics and You, an informative lecture all about genetic testing.
We also got crafty this month. The Culture Cabin showed us how to Make Upcycled Jean Purses! Who said your old jeans still couldn’t be fashionable? We also got crafty with the Livingston Public Library Librarians at your Pinterest Inspired Adult Crafting. We painted wine glasses for holiday gifts and winter decor.
We also got techie this month with a two part course in Microsoft Word Parts 1 & 2.
We also hosted a lecture on Holiday Entertaining presented by Vanessa Young of the Thirsty Radish. She gave us wonderful ideas for our next gathering!
Author Laura Sims also visited us this month to discuss her novel Looker. She gave us a riveting discussion about her debut thriller.
We also hosted our monthly meetups with the ARC of Essex County, Cookbook Club, Let’s Talk About Books, Get Lit book club, Feminsit Fare book club, and Trivia Night.
