October Adult Programming Wrap Up

We enjoyed so many wonderful in-person and virtual adult programs during the month of October! Here is a quick recap of what went on at the Ltown Library during this month!

We got crafty with the Livingston Librarians during our Pinterest Inspired Adult Craft where we made mini fall wreaths! We also enjoyed our new drop-in Crafternoon craft, Color Your Stress Away adult coloring group, and an artist-led Glass Painting Workshop

Those who enjoy learning something new enjoyed a wide array of lectures including: American Folk Art: An Introduction presented by Mario Medici, Fermenting Vegetables 101 presented by Cheryl Pasawater, New GMO Food Labels in 2022: What They Mean to You presented by Cara Cuite, Assistant Extension Specialist in the Department of Human Ecology at Rutgers University, Scorsese and De Niro: An Intense Collaboration presented by film historian Max Alvarez, and Halloween: A Haunted History presented by Kevin Woyce.

We enjoyed our Classic Movie Tuesdays evening film screening with a 7pm showing of Young Frankenstein.  It really helped us in the classic spooky season spirit!

We enjoyed in-person Senior Happening with a performance by Barbara McCarthy titled “Here’s to the Ladies!” We enjoyed so many songs written about and written by women. We look forward to next month’s Senior Happening with a lecture-in-song performance on “The Golden Age of Operetta” by Fred Miller.

We also enjoyed our many book clubs this month including our afternoon Let’s Talk About Books book club, our classic speculative fiction Unstuck in Time book club, our Crime Time true crime book club, and our Bookish Vibes book club and author visit with David Bell.

Be sure to visit our events calendar to see what fun and exciting programs we have planned for November!
