We had some wonderful adult programs take place during the month of October.  Here is a quick recap of what happened at the Library this month!

We enjoyed some lovely lectures. Early in October we discovered A Brief Cultural History of Dragons during a lecture early this month.  Gardeners also enjoyed learning all about The Winter Garden, and what plants they can look forward to enjoying during the winter season.

We also enjoyed hosting an Observe the Moon Night out on the Livingston Oval. Attendees were able to view both the moon and event the planet Saturn!

Music lovers enjoyed our Music Matters Concert, where the Homegrown String Band performed some classic American Roots music. Our Seniors enjoyed also enjoyed the Library’s October Senior Happening event with a performance by Stephen Fuller and his band!

Job seekers learned all about how they can use Linkedin to search for jobs and expand their career during the informative workshop Linkedin and Your Career. We also enjoyed an informative Bagels and Business workshop, where we learned all about Data Axel Reference Solutions.

We got crafty this month with an instructor-led art workshop on Fresh Flower Mandalas, and also enjoyed the Library’s drop-in Crafternoon event!

Do you love book clubs? This month we enjoyed the Library’s Crime Time book club, Let’s Talk About Books, and Bookish Vibes book club and author visit with Lynda Cohen Loigman!

Our English Language Learner’s program has returned this fall. In addition to our Casual Conversation Groups, we also started our new ELL Book Club and Basic Grammar class. You can learn more about the Library’s ELL program here
