October Adult Programming Wrap Up

This pumpkin spice season we hosted some wonderful adult programs! Read all about them below, and be sure to check out our calendar to see all the great programs happening in November!

Adult Paint Night: Drip, Drop, Splash: Adult Paint Night was back! Mansa Mussa taught us how to make a beautiful painting using drips, drops, and a splash!

Jack the Ripper: Mark R. Vogel presented a lecture on one of the most infamous serial killers. This tale gave us chills.

Make a Layered Succulent Terrarium: Succulents are such perfect and easy to care for plants! Robin K. Johnson of Garden Arts for Adults showed us how to make our own layered terrariums!

Pinterest Inspired Adult Crafting: Mason Jar Luminary: We got crafty with the Livingston Librarians again this month by making mason jar luminaries! We used orange painted mason jars and black paint to make the glowing jars.

The Magic of Paper Marbling: The Creativity Caravan paid us a visit to show us the magic of paper marbling.  We made some beautiful marbled designs!

This month we also enjoyed our Get Lit Book Club, Feminist Fare Book Club, Let’s Talk About Books, Creative Writing Meetup, Saturday at the Movies, and more!
