Dear Livingston Library Community,
It’s Father’s Day. What’s your favorite low key, high impact way to connect across generations? For me it’s funny movies. There’s nothing like sharing a good joke to bring family members together. Come to the Library this afternoon to go through our thousands of cinematic selections, or stream a movie right now through hoopla, the Library’s free online digital media platform. To get you started, here are a few suggestions from one of our reference librarians, Ariel Zeitlin. To these, I’d add Blues Brothers and Caddy Shack. Because as Charles Dickens once pointed out, “There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.”
