You don’t need to be a black belt to protect yourself!
This summer, the Livingston Public Library is taking programming outside to the library lawn for basic hands-on self defense training. Kevin Cumberton of Daito-ryu Aiki-Jujutsu of Morris County will be teaching basic self defense techniques originating from aiki-jujutsu. These techniques use precise short movements referred to as “atemi” and body connection.
Registration is required for this event and will open on Monday, July 8 at 10am. You can register for this event, here.
Please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to move! This program will take place outside of the library on the lawn.
