Message from the Director: Explore the Majesty of Carousels

Livingston Library Community,

The Livingston Public Library invites you to step back in time and join us in the Library’s technology room on Monday, January 29th at 7pm to explore the majestic history of the carousel during a lecture presented by history enthusiast, Mario Medici.

Did you know that at one point in time there were more than 5,000 carousels across the country? These carousels were enjoyed by youth and adults alike, with bright colors, lively music, and fun animal shapes. Now, only 150 of these original carousels still remain, but the joy they bring continues to grow.

Registration is not required and all are welcome to attend. For more information, and more events like this, visit the Library’s event calendar

We hope to see you at the Library this Monday!

Best,

Amy Babcock, Director
