Did you know that heart disease is the leading killer of adults nationwide? Join the Livingston Public Library on December 2 at 7pm for The Heart of the Matter presented by Dr. Ali Ahmad, Md, FACC of Summit Medical Group.
At this lecture you will learn about traditional and non-traditional risk factors associated with coronary artery disease, and how to modify your risk and prevent heart disease. You’ll learn about how heart disease affects different ethnic backgrounds, and particularly high-risk groups such as South Asians, the second-fasting growing ethnic group in America.
Dr. Ahmad is a licensed and board-certified cardiologist with more than 10 years of experience treating patients in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. His area of expertise includes the diagnosis and management of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac imaging.
