IN-PERSON Positive Aging: How to Protect Health, Wealth, and Independence with Proactive Planning | Wednesday, April 6th at 11am 

Join an informative discussion led by senior care professionals, who will address meaningful ways to prepare for a fun and productive retirement by planning ahead to preserve financial resources and prevent medical emergencies.

IN-PERSON Poetry Writing Workshop | Wednesday, April 6th at 7pm

During this workshop instructed by Catherine Doty of The Writer’s Circle, you’ll learn how you can discover your own creativity and unleash your poetic voice. Participants will engage in interactive creative writing exercises and prompts in a positive, supportive atmosphere. Although not all participants are guaranteed a chance to share their work during the program, everyone will write, engage, and have fun.

VIRTUAL Back to Bach | Monday, April 11th at 7pm

Join musician and lecturer Barry Weisenfeld to learn about the world of this famed composer and some of his most monumental works! Registration is required for this Zoom event. 

IN-PERSON Small Space Gardening: Growing Vegetables, Herbs, and Flowers in a Limited Area | Wednesday, April 13th at 11am

Yeoman farmer Anthony Bracco will show aspiring gardeners how to achieve a bountiful yield of vegetables and herbs in a small growing space. He  will also discuss growing flowers, particularly varieties of flowers that help deter garden pests.

IN-PERSON Master the Job Interview | Monday, April 18th at 7pm 

During this workshop, career coach Jennifer Rodgers will discuss the before, during and after of the interview, and share techniques to overcome interview anxiety. 

IN-PERSON All About Rain Gardens | Thursday, April 21 at 11am

In this program, you will take a basic dive into rain gardens, as spring is a perfect time to get them in the ground.

VIRTUAL Secret Museums of NYC | Monday, April 25 at 7pm

Did you know that there are over 190 museums in New York City? This presentation by Susan and Art Zuckerman will highlight many of the lesser known and more unusual ones. Registration is required for this Zoom event.
