Pour a cup of tea or hot chocolate and enjoy an inspiring evening of practical tips to support comfort and happiness at home.  Embrace the season as we explore cooking ideas, home décor approaches, and lifestyle strategies that create a warm, joy-filled environment filled with simple pleasures.  This class, taught by Vanessa Young, is grounded in cultural approaches to coziness that apply to all of our lives, particularly as we seek new ways to enjoy time at home and celebrate togetherness.

VIRTUAL 10 Tiny Organizing Tasks For a Clutter Free New Year | Monday, January 10 at 7pm | This event will take place via Zoom. Register HERE. 

Join us for this laugh-out-loud humorous virtual program with organizing humorist and author of “Keep This, Toss That”, Jamie Novak. During this online program she will share the top ten tiny must-do tasks to take on this month. Help to ensure a clutter-free 2022 by creating your own list, then jumpstart your decluttering when Jamie guides you through your first mini task, live, during the program. You’ll log off with some must-know tips. Jamie will share a list of helpful resources. And you’ll create your own ten point tidy up to-do list. 

VIRTUAL Hearty and Healthy Winter Soups | Wednesday, January 12 at 7pm | This event will take place on Zoom. Register HERE.

Learn how to use superfoods in hearty, healthy, and nutritious winter soups to support your immune system and dazzle your taste buds too, in this in-person program presented by Integrative Health Coach Mary Ellen Zung.

VIRTUAL Make ‘Em Laugh: A History of Movie Comedy from Charlie Chaplin to Mel Brooks | Monday, January 24 at 7pm | This event will take place via Zoom. Register HERE 

In this fun filled virtual presentation, lecturer Brian Rose will look at the major highlights of screen comedy over the last 125 years, illustrated with more than 40 examples from Hollywood’s funniest films.

IN-PERSON Highlights of the NYC Highline | Monday January 31at 7pm | This event will take place in-person.

Take a walk on The High Line with Mario Medici, amateur photographer and historian, and discover how the High Line was transformed from a historic elevated freight rail to one of New York City’s most popular parks. Check out the new architecture, gigantic skyscrapers built over train tracks, century-old ice buildings, shopping centers, new sculpture art, and, yes, even where the Oreo cookie was discovered!
